I was raised in Valley, Alabama before moving to Jacksonville, Alabama to attend Jacksonville State University. There, I received a B.S. in Organismal Biology. After college, I married my wonderful husband, Tyler, and we moved to Tampa, Florida. I had the amazing opportunity to work for the Florida department of Environmental protection as a state park ranger. After growing weary of the big city living, my husband and I decided to look for opportunities in a smaller area. We love Tennessee and the mountains, so we ended up here in the Sequatchie Valley, where we live with our four cats. I enjoy being outdoors and usually spend my free time hiking, traveling, and gardening.
