The Ducktown Main Street Improvements, Phase I & II project was funded by a TDOT Transportation Alternatives Program grant the City of Ducktown received in 2015. The Ducktown downtown area was in dire need of new sidewalks and accessibility improvements to provide pedestrian connectivity along Main Street. The project scope of work was to replace the existing mismatched sidewalks that had developed over the past several decades with new sidewalks, steps, ramps, and retaining walls while adding lighting, plantings, and drainage improvements. Since completion, several businesses have opened along Main Street, showing an immediate economic impact to downtown Ducktown and greatly improving the look and feel of the downtown area, while providing ADA-compliant paths throughout.

Farmer | Morgan, LLC provided the City of Ducktown with grant development assistance, A&E design services, and CEI for the project.
