The Master Plan will provide a framework for the City, the development community, business owners, and residents to shape the growth of Spring City. The Masterplan also sets the guidance to initiate and evaluate policies, programs, and zoning change, and to guide the future fiscal investments.
The primary components of the plan are
1). Strategic Planning including a Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threat (S.W.O.T.) Analysis
2). Community Recreational Needs Assessment/Survey
3). Facility inventory with facilities and current conditions included
4). Short, Mid, and Long-Term Goals
5). Community Input
The Plan resulted from a week-long community engagement process “visioning session” that established a unifying vision and identified the core values, guiding principles, priorities, and concerns. The Plan’s findings and recommendations focus on the vision set forth by the community in rebuilding itself as an outdoor recreation community.
