Cottage Cove, Specific Plan (Residential Zone Change)

Cottage Cove is a fifteen-unit cottage courtyard development proposal for an urban infill project in the 12South Neighborhood.  The socially diverse and well-organized neighborhood has experienced difficulty in dealing with growth and the deterioration of the character within their neighborhood.  In order to build consensus, a three-day workshop centered around public participation, understanding urban context, and the zone change process, eased many of the concerns about new development within the community.  The zone change application went before public hearing in November 2008.
